I thought most old peoples were cold-natured? Hence the move to Del Boca Vista. Now, they can go to Nebraska.

When Obama spent a ton on a beach house in MA, it was clear that he didn’t believe in “climate change”.
Paid liars determined to simply lower the standard of living in the West to meet the rising expectations of the growing middle classes in the East (where the jobs went). They can’t imagine billions of Asian coolies demanding their own homes, cars, and families.

Random words would make as much sense as this article.

So true, “follow the science” actually means don’t question things or else...

I’m stuck in a CA mountain community and scared to death seven months a year. My husband won’t leave so I just live in fear.

Yes, we stopped logging to protect random mutations, we stopped brush clearance because of another random mutation, and thus [...]Don't understand your references to "mutations." Could you please elaborate?
Thanks!

Per Breitbart article...
“Sep 12, 2020.
Jacob Altona, 28, has also been arrested in connection to arson. Additionally, Anita Esquivel, 37, has been arrested for deliberately setting fires in California, according to the California Highway Patrol. The news comes as Democrat politicians continue to blame the fires across the region on climate change.”

>No sign of glaciers there for the last 100,000 years however.
Actually, it was just 14,000 years ago that the glacier (”Wisconsin glaciation”) in Central Park NY melted. There were glaciers for the preceding 100,000 years since the Eemian Interglacial ended 115,000 years ago.

"Don't understand your references to "mutations." Could you please elaborate?" Low population species (any species is, by definition, a "mutation" from some other predecessor species).

We did field geology field trips in 8th grade in Ithaca, NY (1964). I still remember seeing the striations on the rock outcrops and being amazed that there used to be a mile of ice above us.
Strange how that all melted pre-SUV.

The tallest buildings in NYC are at least 2 times or as much as 10 times shorter then the ice that was there before....!
Story here
To: minnesota_bound
That’s a great photo to illustrate how much ice was there! Never saw that before.

We are in the Idaho Panhandle. The Cordilleran Ice Sheet went through our region and deposited some gigantic glacial erratics in Washington State (below). Ice dams were created and opened periodically. The dam that blocked the Clark Fork River, formed Glacial Lake Missoula, and filled it with an estimated 500 cubic miles of water -- nearly the equivalent of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario combined. The Cordilleran Ice Sheet sometimes met the Laurentide Ice Sheet and the entire width of North America was under ice! The topography of Northern Idaho, Eastern Washington and Western Montana is dominated by the glaciers.

I see some stupid people painted graffiti over one of them.
To: minnesota_bound
Yeah, it’s really bad. They’ve been there for 15,000 years with no graffiti.
