Who were the 5 Republican turncoats who didn’t stand up for President Trump and America?

Trump better declassify everything fast to save his butt. That is his only hope.

Good. Let them waste time. They now have six days to try and get impeachment through the senate. Good luck.

And as I said in two articles (https://uncoverdc.com/2021/01/11/flight-of-the-squidpickles/) and https://uncoverdc.com/2021/01/12/humiliation-and-history/) this was all about HUMILIATION. The guy at Botoxic’s desk, the guy taking a dump on SpewMore’s desk, the goofball viking guy & the Bearded Lady-—all of these people in “THEIR HOUSE??” Meanwhile they were running like little lemmings, Lindsey Graham in the lead trying to change into women’s clothes to get on the last lifeboat to the cellar?

This embarrassed and humiliated them to their core, because it didn’t have anything to do with morals, ethics, or morality, but with POWER and they were made to be seen as completely powerless, helpless, cowardly, and craven.

So if I’m on that jury? Jury nullification. “I don’t see a crime here.”

Liberals claim the 6th was “Political Violence”. They are too dumb to see these unconstitutional measures are far, far worse.

As mentioned, there is debate about that. And twice before both the president and vp used their plenary powers. This has been tested before apparently.

It has apparently been done twice before. Once by Nixon and once by Jefferson who was vp at the time fro what I understand. I’m just saying that there is disagreement about whether Pence had the power or not, and its not been settled legally fro. What I understand?

There were competing slates of Electors in those cases. That was not the case this time.

Moreover, that would have been a parliamentary ruling as the presiding officer...subject to appeal and being overridden by vote.

The VP does not have “plenary” power over this issue. There is not a debate about that. I’ve seen the articles stating otherwise with stuff people are just making up. The Constitution is where the powers are spelled out, and it is in very plain language.

Presiding officers can only rule on legislative procedures. Substantive matters must be decided by the legislative body. Only the Congress as a whole can decide to accept or reject slates of electors. The President of the Senate does not and cannot have that power.

Absolutely right.

I think Donald Trump is more about action than hope and as long as he’s alive he will fight. In or out of office.
