I think that is nonsense.

Just another Democrat administration. I loath this silly “OMG it's the end of the republic’. Seen the same panties on fire BS since Carter got elected, EVERY time it's the same histrionics, almost verbatim, and has been since the middle of the last century.

Utter histrionics befitting a 9 year old girl.

All of those things will certainly happen, but the ordinary person will feel the bite from some less overt acts, which will be coordinated with private firms.

Biden has already campaigned on repealing the 2005 protection of lawful commerce in arms act, which will bankrupt all manufacturers of all types of firearms.

But even before that, the credit card processing companies have already shown themselves willing to remove their services from gun and ammo dealers. I’d look for that to gain steam in the first and second quarters of this year, starting with “assault” rifles, but applied as broadly as possible. It’s not beyond the realm of possibility that individuals, as well as businesses will be dropped if you buy “too many” guns or “too much” ammo.

People have also been “blacklisted” from banking services during the Obama years — though fairly narrowly applied. Expect that to be more broadly applied as well, probably by using the “no-fly” list concept that has been used this week against the “Capitol rioters”. The left has long advocated using the no-fly list to prohibit purchases of firearms, but there’s no reason that they would limit themselves to that.

In short, while I’m expecting all of the “big” moves that you outline, I’m also expecting a much more immediate effort to severly limit currently legal commercial activities, and that there will be no recourse though the courts or the political system.

“My guess is they will be pretty darned loyal.”

Got to protect that cushy pension of course.

If it was only that I wouldn’t be as worried. Our election system is now changed. Maybe I’ll be surprised and something will be done to fix it. But I doubt it.

I think it’s all the same whining and histronic fits of ‘the Sky Is Falling’ that each part does when the other gets into the White House, and that’s been going on since Jefferson.

I utterly loath hyperbole.

Democrats have been saying it’s going to be a fascist coup since Nixon ran the first time, Republicans have been saying this is the last election before a Communist regime is installed since Ike, it’s all bullshit.

Even Trump was/is just another Republican, lots of grandiose hype (’the biggest’, ‘the best’ barf) but basically just doing what the actual Republican platform said.

Biden’s just another Dem Senator. There seem to be a lot of folks either so paranoid or mentally limited that they see in black and white, like little kids screaming ‘OMG We’re all going to die”.

The White house, and Congress change parties, often, have for hundreds of years; people who freak out about *any* politician being the ‘end of the republic’ or such just make their lives, and the lives of others miserable with their mental illness. Doesn’t mean I like Biden or Harris or their policies, but I’m not peeing myself like a little girl and freaking out.

LOL! I’m with you there, I can’t stand hyperbole, and that goes for click-bait headlines too.
I honestly hope you’re right. I am going to hunker down, keep a few more supplies than normal on hand; pray and watch.

Georgia. Nov. 3 voters didn’t show up in the same numbers for the runoff. Look in the mirror.

Can you post a reference that verifies that. Thanks in advance.
