One of the great things about being old is that you have nothing to lose and can be honest. This sums up both trump and a lot of his supporters. Sadly, folks like Carlson and Shapiro are young and have to think about their future in the world we are entering.

And McConnel probably wants to stay out of prison.

We are now in the “phony war” phase. Your move, Democrats. https://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/world-war-two/world-war-two-in-western-europe/the-phoney-war/#:~:text=’Phoney%20War’%20is%20the%20name,September%201939%2C%20seemingly%20nothing%20happened.

He didn’t hold DjT completely blameless, but nor did I feel he was blaming him.

DjT was the cause because of proximity, but did not incite violence in any way.

I stopped watching this pussy long ago. Same goes for all of FoxNews. It is long past time that we choose sides. I side with freedom and liberty. Tucker chose the establishment deep state. F him.

The capital isn’t any more sacred than the homes and businesses of Americans.

You are correct. Add to that people in the nation's capitol and many state capitols have been working overtime with a hoax ChiCom flu to destroy American's small businesses, employment, lives and dreams. In PA they murdered well over 6,000 seniors from the state capitol.

My home is more important that some imaginary false shrine. Government is not my God.

The Capital is the Holy shrine for the religion of Big Government worshippers, i.e. The Leftists. They could care less about private property rights.

Mark Steyn’s take on this the other day was classic (disclaimer: it was an appearance on Tucker Carlson):

So all of a sudden people like Tucker are going to forget the last four years, the ignoring of the cities burning and the blatant cheating in an election. What Trump was doing was giving people hope. He did not advocate a capitol building breach. I would say the precedence of allowing rioters to burn cities in the last year is more responsible. Where was the extra security? Where were the counter-protesters? This whole thing stinks as much as the fraudulent election. The guilt should lay with those who have been lying and cheating for the last four years.

Maybe someone can help me.

I avoided - on purpose - the computer and the TV news 100% from the night of January 5th till yesterday evening. I KNEW what the Senate outcome was going to be and my health prescribed that I not witness the blow by blow or all the talking heads or all the arm chair analysts.

What exactly did Trump say at the January 6th D.C. rally that is being construed as “encouraging” or “inciting” any in the crowd to a violent assault on the Capital building???

Trump said nothing to incite violence on Wednesday.

We seem to continually let the left control the narrative.

Here’s what’s important. Here’s what matters. Here is what we should be harping on.

THE 2020 ELECTION WAS STOLEN FROM PRESIDENT TRUMP.

All of the other narratives are irrelevant. Right now, the MAIN THING is the main thing.

Viewers need to check the freshness date on Fox News too. The only people worth watching on Fox are Raymond Arroyo and Jeanine Pirro (and possibly Rachel Campos-Duffy and Jesse Watters).

You wonder why Sean Vanity and Laura Ingraham bother having guests on their shows, as they never let a guest finish a sentence. Shannon Bream used to have the veneer of even- handedness, but she has clearly tilted to the left. Martha MacCallum is unwatchable (despite the fact she is a Notre Dame mom). I’ve had it with Tucker. Bret Baier is slightly more tolerable than the anchors on the alphabet channels, but that is about it.

If I want to watch news and politics on TV, I’m going to stick with OANN, Newsmax and the C-SPAN channels (I’ve got all three on Verizon FIOS). FIOS also offers a channel I’ve fallen in love with — WILLOW, which shows cricket games from around the world 24/7/365. They focus on sports and don’t discuss politics on there (FIOS Channel 806).
