I missed some minutes as I got a call from my son in Puerto Rico who was seeing this news there. He and family are one their way out for 3 Kings celebration. Hope to get a mood-in-the-street report from him later tonight. Meanwhile, there is a report a female inside the Capitol is being treated for a bullet in the neck. Don’t know if this is the same or a different person shot I reported before. Virginai governor is sending VA National GUard and 200 Virginia police to help in DC at the Capitol, perhaps elsewhere. More heavily armed police are arriving at the Capitol now. President Trump being urged to tell people to go home, don’t know specifically by whom.
Latest word is that 6 people have been taken to the hospital. Kevin McCarthy is urging stronger efforts to encourage peope to go home. I am now going to move over to the newesr strong post on the Capitol happenings, almost 400 comments already.
