If he and his wife did neither, would you not accept his efforts in opposition to certification?
I support Cruz and am happy he’s doing the right thing.
At some point, maybe this year or next I would like to see Ted’s Mea Culpa along the same lines of Glen Beck’s. Ted lost trust in 2016, but he can get it back. It’s not that hard.
Sheesh...I thought I was off to bed. One last check at thedonald.win and I found this and the comments fascinating. Lots going on right now...

Thanks to all posters on this thread.
Aha, this alleged stuff about Cruz sounded very familiar. Someone at the good old treehouse is spewing anti-Cruz again. Will someone be good enough to tell them that 2016 happened four years ago, and that Cruz has been supporting Our President all this time.
What is the point in generating bad blood NOW?
Because he’s in the news as a showboat among at least a dozen joining a noble, righteous effort led by Josh Hawley.
Thank you Ted for doing the right thing. Give Josh credit.
And Ted, do plan a video of a Mea Culpa a la Glenn Beck which Glen did recently. Then we know you possess humility.
Because otherwise Ted is all about Ted.
Ted Cruz had every right to run in the primaries for President and his supporters had every right to support him. He has nothing to apologize for. Cruz and Trump are at peace with each other, and I’m fine with that.
I was one of the very first on FR to speak highly of Ted Cruz. I was one of his strongest supporters going all the way back to when he was first elected to the Senate.
I guarantee you I know much more about Ted Cruz than you will ever know.
All he has to do to regain trust is confess his lies and schemes against Donald Trump. His candidacy wasn’t about who would be the better leader for Americans. It was about attacking the character of Donald Trump. Even after Trump became the nominee, Cruz attempted to organize a GOP resistance to Trump on the convention floor. He was a snake and a backstabber. He lost massive support from conservatives. He barely won reelection as Senator against Beth O’Rourke who should have been defeated in a landslide.
Since then, he has shown support for the President only because the President is highly popular among Texans. He has never apologized.
