I vomited there a number of times as I was leaving. Absolutely LOVE the trip up through the Siskiou mountains into southern Oregon.
NO surprise to me at all.
Congratulations
You are an irredeemably deplorable.
Why does the article continuously repeat “racially diverse” like a parrot with Tourette’s syndrome?
It’s like the Seinfeld episode where the reporter thinks Jerry and George are a gay couple. And everyone on the show just keeps repeating, “Not that there’s anything wrong with that,” while vehemently denying it.
Yes, ruins, because the port closed in 2015 since the 100 miles of the Columbia River between Portland and the Pacific Ocean is too shallow and too narrow for the current generation of container ships.
Without the port and dependent industries, how much will the city need to shrink? They're already upside down where there is not enough commerce to support in-place infrastructure.
“Portland’s political class tolerates and encourages riots, sides with rioters, relentlessly criticize cops..”
This is the part that deserves recognition. Were I a cop I would never respond to any call from one of these counterculture ass wipes. I pray for the day they get violently attacked and their homes and automobiles (bicycles?) get burglarized, invaded, or vandalized.
I would put on my best serious face and do absolutely nothing for them
And proud of it!
Sounds like they need to recruit from New Orleans. Those cops know how to bust heads.
AVOID BLUE RUN MEMPHIS, NASHVILLE, KNOXVILLE, CHATTANOOGA, THEN.
There has been a bounce in break-ins, car thefts, burglaries, but with the Daily Fishwrap, (Whose circulation has cratered.), and the local electronic media "failing to cover" this, the City Gauleiters can ignore this.
Southern Oregon is a different State. We tried once split off as the State of Jefferson, but WWII distracted everyone's attention.
In some ways I would rather be part of southern Oregon than a State of Jefferson dominated by Northern California. Those folks have been Californicated and believe in sales taxes.
Switching to be part of Idaho is now being seriously discussed. I think I would rather join Idaho.
