The snipe hunt used to be a right of passage for the new, younger Boy Scouts. It wasn't hard to "sucker" them into believing.

I have COPD and a heart condition I have 20% permanent lung capacity loss due to a collapsed lung in 2004 with viral pneumonia. I routinely wear a full face P100 respirator while on the rig site for 12 hour shifts while the frac trucks are on site due to silica dust. I have a pulse oxy wrist monitor and ekg chest band that I wear while working. At no point even after 12 hours in a full respirator has my blood oxy ever gone below 92% I never get above 95% so 3% down and thats with a restrictive P100 respirator not a piece of cotton. I’m so sick of little girly men whining like toddlers they can’t wear a piece of fabric you all should like spoiled little girls. Suck it up buttercup real men day in and day out wear respirators to do hours of hard man work you pu$$y can wear a cloth for 10 mins inside a store my god what whimps most “men” in America are.
I have a pair of AirPods that I just love and I have started wearing them everywhere. If anyone says anything to me about not wearing my mask as a chinstrap, I either ignore them (can’t hear ya...AirPods), or I give them a big friendly smile, a thumbs up, and yell, “Okay!” So far, no one has pursued it any further.
I have legitimate hearing loss [deaf in left ear, 50% in right] and I rely on reading lips to understand what’s being said to me.
I’ve been telling people muzzled up this whole time that I can’t understand their muffled mumbling.
Sometimes they cooperate, sometimes they don’t.
If this foolishness is making me miserable, I cannot imagine what it does to fully deaf people, or even the blind.
