What’s she screaming about? She’s still got arms.

Lauren should LOUDLY demand members of Congress, especially the leadership, be stripped of personal security of the United States, the Capitol Hill Police be disbanded, and members be forbidden the use of private ARMED security anywhere in the US. Sauce for the gander...

I’ve been reading the biography of US Grant by Ron Chernow.
As POTUS he would typically go out on an afternoon stroll around DC unaccompanied by anyone.
How times have changed.

"Will she go to bat for the rest of us and fight to allow any law-abiding citizen to carry within the Capitol building?"

Antifa, BLM, drug cartels and enemy foreign intelligence agencies would probably like to have their own designated people carrying in capitol buildings, too. Should legislators be prevented from being surrounded by armed mobs or not?

I don't suppose that's by accident.

You can bet the farm that it is not by accident.

I agree with legislators carrying in capitol buildings, for those who want to do so and possess enough competence.

Should law abiding citizens? Legislators have the whole Capitol Police Department to protect them. The average citizen wouldn't. If Congressmen and Senators can carry in the Capitol there is absolutely no reason why the average law-abiding citizen shouldn't be able to as well.

These are the same congress people whose body guards are probably carrying the M26 Modular Accessory Shotgun System. They don’t need to pack.

I am NOT one bit worried that an intruder will GO INTO MY CLOSET...
I need MY weapons where they will do me the most good.

Will she go to bat for the rest of us and fight to allow any law-abiding citizen to carry within the Capitol building?

That is an unusual comment for you.

Why wouldn't you want her to make a symbolic statement about the righteousness of exercising Second Amendment rights, according to existing law?

Asking her to change existing law is a huge lift in comparison.

She is being smart.

This tactic is using Media judo, using their own power against them.

She has trapped the other representatives into either using their power to disarm a small female and themselves; or to allow her to win a propaganda battle, with more to come.

Because it's rights for me and not for thee. Symbolism is meaningless unless it accomplishes something. All she's doing it making it clear that Congress is above the people.

It accomplishes a great deal.

We are in an information war.

If you cannot get the House to agree to allow their own members to have access to arms, there is no chance to get them to allow the public to have access to arms.

Establishing the right to arms is good for me is necessary to make the argument it is good for thee.

The main argument our opponents make is arms are bad for everyone except the police and military, and probably not them most of the time.

Lauren is making the "good for me" come out in the open.

You seem to be making the "all or nothing" argument.

Incrementalism works.

All true.

But I am old enough to not care what they try to do to me. I know a lot of people who see the world that way.

DC hates us, but that is the way it is.

And where I live, they are going to have a very very hard time changing it.

I have recently learned that Ammo and components for reloading are very scarce again. Especially primers, bullet molds and bullets.

A week ago I had a new scope mounted on my old Marlin, 30-30 {I dropped my rifle and broke the scope}, and the gun shop where I do a lot of business, looked like it was raided.

The shelves were bare {or close to it} and the owner told me he had back orders for basic ammo, 30-06, 38, 357 Magnum, 9 MM, and he could sell what ever he got delivered to his store.

I have several thousand rounds that I've been buying and shooting over the years, and I will not go below my own pre-set minimum for any of my guns.

I'll run out of life before I run out of ammo.

I reload, have lots of components, but until now had not reloaded for my pistol. I bought a set of dies for 38/357 and the Lee case trimmer guides and some lead casting stuff. The bullets mold? Everybody is out.

There are many who sense the urgency again. The last time I beefed up my stock was early during Obozo’s rule. I managed to get what I needed then. Right now the worst shortages are bullets and primers.

” to think that a judge does not or cannot carry a gun in a courtroom would be mistaken thought.”

Ditto for preachers.

“I love this woman’s passion. This is exactly what I’ve been wanting to see from our side of the aisle.”

There seem to be quite a few freshmen with this passion, bold and outspoken. Mostly females. I hope they kick some Omar, AOC, and Tlaib ass.
