Some of them look like my Lifetime 8 x 10 shed. And a lot(most) of the folks "in charge" of this don't understand the "homeless". A lot of them don't want to be housed in these or anything else provided by "the man" because then they are "in the system". And a lot of them want nothing to do with the "system". And these days, that's easy to understand. The article links to 'zerohedge.com' and last I checked FR doesn't do that site.

For 400K, you can buy 54 Cedarshed 16 x 14 sheds from Lowe's. If you want them to have a bathroom in them, I'd say buy 50 of them.
One of those Chedarshed 16 x 14 sheds is $7253 at Lowe's. It looks nice... a porch in the front.

One can build an entire tiny home for under $35k.

Every single endeavor involving the transfer of wealth from those who earned it to those who didn’t, from a minimum basic income or homes given to people or full blown socialism, all the way down to giving a dollar to a panhandler comes to rest on the same rocky shoal:
Ingratitude and greed.
For those who didn’t earn it, it will never, ever be enough.
Never.

Move in some used single wides at a cost of less than 50K each.
Apparently the “homeless” don’t need a home that bad and the RAT politicians are making out like a bandit.

I KNOW!! Instead of "tiny house" type shelters, we could build large-scale, shiny, beautiful, new housing for the poor, the homeless, the indigent. We could give them some nice sounding names like "Pruitt Igoe," or "Cabrini Green," or "Jordan Downs." We would have great economies of scale and beat that $130,000 price tag for each unit.

LA is a port city. It has a virtually unlimited supply of cheap shipping containers.

A $130,000 for a tiny home😵 you can get a decent travel trailer for a fraction of that price.
I wonder where the money is really going?🙄
