Didn't they hand out gas masks to members of Congress in the immediate aftermath of 9/11? I remember a thread or two being posted on FR at the time. People were commenting why they got them over anybody else. I searched online to see if I could find an article about it from back then, but failed. Maybe somebody on FR remembers.

Why are these politicians getting the vaccine ahead of people who deserve the protection ? Politicians should be the last ones to get the vaccine .

I suppose it’s for the best that Congress gets the vaccine before average people. If it turns out it doesn’t work then we won’t lose anyone important.

Graham, McConnel and the other surrender-Republicans don’t realize that if the far left ever got control of our country they would be the first to be lined up for the firing squad. At the very least they would be given a ticket for the nearest re-education camp.
