His stupid remarks gave liberals a good excuse to dismiss vote fraud claims as kooky conspiracy theories. Maybe it was intentional because he later admitted that voting machines are actually hooked to Internet during Congressional hearing.

But the CEO of Dominion says that is absolutely NOT true that the machines are connected to the internet??? One of these two are lying and if Mr Barr were doing his job, one of them would be in jail or hanging from a tree!!

I think that in past years the term 'treason' was used more meaningfully! Today it is ignored.

Probably it is in the law. But nobody gets convicted for it, even if he did commit it. It is like death penalty is in the law but nobody is sentenced to death.

They may be sentenced to lesser crime with long jail sentence. Even that is not a sure thing. They could get out after serving a few years.

Fired? Good!

Now arrest and indict him for a million counts of election fraud.

I think a smart teenager may not have been smart enough to be able to compromise a system effectively enough to commit fraud so thoroughly.

I think that is likely partially true.

I have known at least one IT person who went to work for a town, and I thought he would have been good.

However, I tend to think most of those types are bottom of the barrel people who I wouldn’t trust to connect a computer to the Internet, never mind set up a network in the town hall.

Partially it is them, and partially because the IT resources for a town would likely be limited, and things like software updates and virus definitions would get short shrift and shoved to a back burner or ignored completely.

In this case, from what I heard, they sign a contract with Dominion or some other contracted service who either runs it or is supposed to teach them how to run it, but I would think that entire process is fraught with fraud and suspect from the get-go, so I think it is malicious and not neglect.

I admit to being pessimistic that any of these people will pay for their criminality, but...one can hope.

I get that.

Track record of punishment is almost nil.
