The cops relied on an informant who gave the wrong address. The man the cops were looking for had an ankle monitor and could have been electronically located.

Ms. Young obtained body cam video via the Freedom of Information Act; the city of Chicago sued to prevent publication.

Even if Miss Young were a known criminal the cops had no business treating her that way. It's a disgrace.

The full video is here. It’s just awful. Omg. Of course her lawyer is using the race card on how they treated her, which I don’t believe is true. The lawyer is not helping her law suit by bringing up unproven, hypothetical views and motivation for the LEO’s behavior. The entire situation is awful enough and without doubt she will be awarded generously.

The warrant was based on a tip from a confidential informant, who had provided the wrong address for a man suspected of having an illegal gun.

War on Guns producing the same abuses as has the War on Drugs.
