Anonymous sources usually are wrong . . . but FLeepers and NeverTrumpers accept their pronouncements as gospel.
Barr will hang around as long as President Trump “needs” him....
Like he needs a tiny pebble in his shoe. Or a nagging cough that keeps him awake. Or hearing jibes from Pelosi and Schiff while he surfs the TV news media outlets.
Barr is like a “governor” keeping a vehicle engine from going too fast. He does that for justice against the guilty intelligence community and Dems plotting their coup. Nice and slow.
Needs him? Needs him for what? He doesn't seem to be doing anything in his current position as AG.

Is the lack of convictions/prosecution against the obvious coup a problem? Yes it is. When will they act? Well, it better be soon.

If he had any concern at all for Justice, he’d appoint a Special Counsel to investigate the Wire Tranfers from Russia, Ukraine, China, and Iraq to close Biden family members.
If he cared one iota about Justice....
But, he’s been running out the clock on Trump. That’s all he’s done.

Mattis pulled the same crap. He announced in December that he would be leaving at the end of the year. Trump told him to pack his crap and get out now.

That would give someone a chance to appoint a Special Counsel for Ukraine-Biden.

I think this was a leak trap by Trump and Barr.
You’d think just once in awhile they’d publush something true about the president. They can’t bring themselves to it, though.

The DOJ is quite happy with Barr. They control him so no rush for him to leave.
