I am just posting this, without comment, because it is interesting.

May be, some of you in the States, care to comment?

By the way, the Mail, as usual inserts their own bias in describing the limited proposal.

Comes as AG Bill Barr said there was not evidence of fraud to overturn election

The Dailey Mail loves the portly piper.

Thanks for your posts. It's unfortunate about the name calling, and other immature and ignorant comments from those who disagree with your viewpoints.

There will be growing calls for martial law, etc. One FReeper has suggested that invoking the Insurrection Act gives President Trump the ability to effectively suspend the functioning of the Federal Legislative and Judicial branches - that [they are]:

"Of no effect once the state of emergency and Martial Law is declared. The President holds all the cards if he wants to play them. The Insurrection Act gives the President power over the legislature during the state of emergency"

That's where some are at. Pretty dangerous and ignorant.

And there are growing numbers of posts for mass arrests [see post 16], including what I consider "score settling". And this from FReepers who would hopefully be advocates of adherents to the US Constitution and the rule of law, not the laws of man.

I do not believe President Trump will invoke the Insurrection Act and /or martial law. If he does, rightly or wrongly, I believe the House would move at the soonest time possible to impeach and the Senate would vote to convict by a 2/3 majority.
