One more point on us packing it up. We’re in Texas and have a nice house. Without the Senate, Fracking ends and the Texas economy collapses, overnight. With the Senate, it may or may not collapse, but if it does, it will at least be over several years. I need that time, or else I lose at least $100k in home value (probably a lot more). Just another reason that I want to leave on my own schedule.
By the way, we just renewed our passports, even though we have years left on them - just one less thing to worry about in the future, when we’re likely overseas, due to Lin Wood giving away this country.

here’s what’s ****ing scary; georgia isn’t just deciding for georgia; they’re deciding for the entire country whether we give the extremists the perfect opportunity to do irreversible damage to the country; and a shocking number of them (on FR, at least) don’t seem to think it’s worth a few hours of their lives.

I’ll let you know if he does in early January. Judging by this thread, where some people seem to be supporting Lin Wood’s implied call to skip the Georgia runoffs (despite Trump calling him out on it), I’m starting to think he’ll be successful.

Loeffler was compromised before she’d been in her appointed position for just a few weeks due to iffy timing of investment decisions. I have a feeling she’s up to her ass in this Dominion scam, too.

Me too. Horrible to see. But I understand it. People on our side are simply sick of being screwed over by the GOP, so they’re ripe for a call to boycott, and Lin Wood did just that. And it is hard to tell them to hold their noses, yet again.
But sometimes you do have to fight a rear-guard action, as much as you may want to be on offense. And fighting a rear-guard will be FAR EASIER with the Senate being Republican (no court packing, and keeping the filibuster, for starters), than without. And likely won’t even be possible without the Senate.
...but for people looking to send a message of ‘purity’, Lin Wood is giving them just what they wanted.

Lin Wood likely has (had) the same frustration that MANY do, with this run off race.....
The R candidates came out, right after the fraud election, and....rather than calling out the FRAUDSTERS, in GA, and elsewhere, went straight to touting their own horns....about their ‘successful’ races, and the need for Rs to keep the Senate....with NO mention of the Presidential race, that I could find.
This really irritated me, and, many others, I’m sure.
And, as Maria mentioned this morning, in her interview w/POTUS....many voters....not just R voters....are frustrated, disgusted and totally finished with voting....since we’ve not been able to fix this last election’s (11/3) yuge mess, and, don’t have 100% confidence in our voting systems.....one of our most sacred rights.
Not that many people, in general, even know who Lin Wood is, or, certainly don’t follow his tweets/interviews (like we do :)....so, I doubt that he alone could effect the outcome of any election.

If we all believe that the presidential race was fixed, why should anyone have confidence in the Senate or House races declared by Dominion?

I don’t know...EVERY factor counts in really close elections. But I do agree, us political junkies are a small subset of the Republican Party and hopefully Lin doesn’t get too far.
...but on the other hand, the media is having a FIELD DAY with our side calling for boycotts, so don’t be so we’re not being damaged - every Republican voter will hear the call, regardless of whether they follow Lin or even know who he is.

Imo....McConnell, Ronna and these two R Senator candidates, should’ve been in GA, day one, saying this was a fraud election, and, until it is PROPERLY and legally fixed, and rightly overturned, we will NOT go forward with this Jan run off. That any run off with OUT repairing the 11/3 fraud/damage, is a total sham.....which, btw, we are seeing, now, w/dirty crook Rappensburger saying the run off can have drop off ballot boxes.....again.
I place the blame squarely on THEM.
Not the ones actually fighting for POTUS, GA and for US/our election/voting system integrity.

Don’t fool yourself, plenty do. If I didn’t disable my TV, my wife would be one of them, even though she’s far more conservative than me (she just wants to know what’s going on, mostly outside of political stuff...which she doesn’t listen to). As to how much they believe the media, I would agree not much, but they will hear Lin’s calls to boycott.

Difficult to see how we, or they, could call off that election, if Georgia plans to go through with it.
I get why everyone is so pissed off. what I don’t get is why people seem determined to rollover and WILLINGLY be exploited. it’s incredibly easy; take a couple of hours out of your life and vote — try to make it impossible to steal. if I lived in GA (I live in an adjoining red state), the effort to save the republic would be worth a few hours of my life.
democracy dies in darkness, and maybe that darkness is exactly this apathy that we’re seeing now.
