This whole COVID lockdown stuff is complete nonsense. All the businesses and organizations should be allowed to be open. If someone wishes to not visit those places out of fear, so be it. 99.6% of the population will not die if they even get the disease. It’s completely backwards. Quarantine the sick and protect the vulnerable.
They already settled the issue with the last case.
Obviously not many people read the New York SCOTUS opinion.
I was very troubled by the wording. It’s clear that SCOTUS isn’t going to protect our freedoms.
However, I think an issue with Tony spell, was his blatant disregard for any capacity roles.
He actually back in April, went to next door towns where church was closed and bussed in elderly to his church.
I just thought it was asking for trouble. Fine to buck against the shut downs but to do the exact very thing that was contributing to the spread was not in line with script.
He jumped the gun and hit SCOTUS early - and this kinda-sorta piggy-backs on the religious FReedom case they slapped Cuomo for....he might have to revise his case.
