Via C-section.
You got me... The Kennedys, Kerry, Warren, Duval Patrick..... a host of nut jobs, drunks, and thieves.
I was only 19 at the time, on my 1st visit to Nantucket that summer. It was the buzz on the island, but after I returned home, I don’t recall hearing any more of it. The press has been memory-holing Kennedy dirt for most of my lifetime.
I remembered he died in November...If I happened to think about it...
I remember exactly where I was.
Great article.
Poppy Bush was the only person on Planet Earth who said he could not remember where he was (location) when he heard the news of JFK’s death.
John Kennedy of Louisiana doesn’t count.. He has a brain.. LOL!! What a singer...
A car, boat or plane, you shouldn’t be in them with a Kennedy piloting. If they were piloting the Enterprise (Star Trek), they’d crash into A) the Sun or B)A planet... with them the only survivors.
I know exactly where I was that day. In my 6th grade class. What I said was I totally forgot today was the 22nd and the anniversary. With all going on with election was not mentioned much. And I stopped watching TV, well except for The Crown 4th season.
My dad said JFK was killed by Joe DiMaggio for killing Marilyn Monroe... 😀 Or another husband who JFKhad an affair with his wife...
Kindergarten Hebron Avenue School in Glastonbury...
Singer is supposed to be ZINGER... Auto incorrect...
My money is on LBJ.
He hated and I mean....HATED JFK.
And LBJ was enough of a criminal to have had it done.
My parents generation remember where & when they first learned of the attack on Pearl Harbor. It was early afternoon on Sunday December 7 … east coast time. The radio stations broke from regular programming to make the announcement.
I’ve had two such events in my life. I don’t want a third.
Yes, I know why Kennedy went to Dallas, and that Nixon probably wouldn't have had to go there, but still, allow me my indulgence.
Kelley was her maiden name. Her married name was Buckley. She did not come from money. Her father was a bartender. Her younger sister,Kim, was also injured in the accident, as was David Kennedy and several others. I think he was racing through the woods to catch a ferry.
As a young kid I loved JFK. He made us feel like we had a responsibility as Americans to be the best we could be. Science and being fit and serving our country were important. It was hard to accept the reality of who he really was.
We craved photos of Jackie to see what she wore.
