My cynical side is surprised it is not higher.
The liberal geyser of misinformation spread at college campuses 100 fold since the 80’s.
Back then the message was, just treat people like humans.
Now the message is if you don’t fully support every twisted sexual deviancy, every minority cause, but hate the Jews, you deserve to be silenced, cancelled and beaten. The hippies were about peace and love, seems they bread the most vile of humans.

One of my father’s Russian cousins got out in the mid-’70s with his wife. The first time that they came to our house, we took them grocery shopping to buy what they wanted for dinner - and, of course, the first thing that you see is the fruit and vegetable department. He saw the pile of oranges, grabbed the cart from my mother, and started filling the thing up as quickly as he could. Obviously, my mother explained that there are no shortages, and no reason to do that. So, to prove it, they went into a bad part of town and stopped at a crappy little store...and there was a pile of oranges. He believed it intellectually, but it didn’t really hit him for a couple of years.

Yeah, living under Socialism/Communism is WAY different from how we have ever lived - and those utter morons who pine for us to become Socialist have absolutely no idea, not one single clue, about what life is really like - no matter WHAT the people are promised. My father’s (and this cousin’s) grandfather was murdered by the NKVD for the “crime” of renting out part of his home (the only thing that the Communists let him keep out of a lifetime of hard work) when in his 70s and suffering from cancer, just to put food on the table - food that he couldn’t work for, and had no savings (because they stole it) to pay for.

I despise ALL Collectivist ideologies with a white-hot passion - that’s not just Communism and Socialism, it is also the Nazim, racism, progressivism, liberalism (20th century version, not classical), etc., because they ALL group people into artificial and irrelevant groups (by race, religion, economic class, etc.) in order to divide and then rule over people by creating victims and oppressors out of thin air. Collectivists are responsible for at least 150 million deaths in the 20th century...and these f’ing morons want to rush into the arms of this poisonous ideology! The stupid, and the evil, is strong in them.

AS bad as I have to say it. It would not do any good, The fault they would not say was not with socialism. It was how it was implemented.

Socialism will be implemented whether we like it or not. It will be implemented when the youth comprise the voting majority. When they get it, it will not be the Bernie types like Bernie.
