In Europe, nature gets a lot of help to look natural.

Conservative states have delved careful into mining federal largeness around wind. Indiana utilities build NG peaking plants and wind plants at the same time at about the same nameplate capacity as ILL builds windfarms and plans on decommissioning nuclear plants.

If someone is going to give you a wind farm for free over 20 years...take it. If you neighbor is liberal, sell him electricity at the premium he required.

I encourage conservative utility companies to rape liberal states (with utility prices) of every dollar they can, while improving capacity for their state to run industry the world needs.

... but wants to become far more reliant on electricity ...

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++==

I still cannot figure out where the Leftist envirowienies think all the “electric” is coming from ... no fossil fuels, no nuclear, solar/wind just doesn’t “cut it” for a reliable power source. No hydro-electric - they tear down dams & flush all the melt/rain water out to sea instead of storing it, so there are drought conditions, big time.

These folks, who want all the modern niceties of life, are just whacko if they think wind/solar are going to provide for them. My neighbor across the street is majorly anti-electric power company (has been arrested & spent at least one night in jail resisting ‘smart’ meter installation) - all the meters, etc. cause her health issues she says. So, she’s gone “off the grid”, just solar panels & batteries. We had a couple of cloudy days a month or so ago - she was over at our house because she had run out of battery power. She needed to use our phone to call the solar company because her batteries needed to be “jump started/recharged” before they would work again - the equipment to do that was another $300, to her dismay - batteries are $2,500/each & she has 4.

BTW, I am old enough I remember outhouses at my grandparents’ farms, well water accessible via hand pump & sleeping under 4 quilts because there was no central heat & ice would be on the inside of the windows in the morning. There were also the good old days in my home growing up when we went a week with no power, due to snow/ice storms - in the summer, there was no AC. We were just fine .... many people in today’s society would have major issues with long-term lack of electricity & would suffer/not make it in a true survival situation.
