I was just curious about why is it illegal in CA.
CWP... Not sure why a Right requires a permit.

True enough but we live under certain rules right now so sometimes we need to kiss the ring even when it galls us no end so as to achieve a greater good. One step at a time.
I had a friend that owned a Taurus 4510 Judge. He owned it because the revolver being able to fire .45 Colt cartridges and shotgun 410 shot rounds. he told me he loaded them alternately with a .410 buckshot cartridge in the first to fire position for wide coverage Because he felt that if he was surprised exam would be for sh!t.
I can shoot dimes @100 yrds with it. Consistently.
Any more accuracy out of it I would have to drop the barrel/action into a full-on bench rest chassis.
And then three hundred Spartans proceeded to kill at least 100k of Xerxes’ army, elephants included, until a traitor betrayed their flank.

I have two of them. One loaded with 000 buck shot (4 pellets per round) and the other loaded with #6 shot. Home defense weapons. My wife is comfortable with them. With the #6 shot, that weapon will put out over 2,000 pellets quickly. Hard to miss with those.
California thinks it’s a sawed off shotgun.
Besides, it’s a gun, they would ban every single firearm, BB gun, pellet gun, and paintball gun if they thought they could get away with it. Not kidding.
Heck, they’d ban squirt guns, grease guns and spray paint guns!
Hi.
My doctor asked me that question many years ago, and I told her that if I told her, I’d have to kill her.
Had the same VA doctor for 20 years. Great woman.
No, she never asked me again.

Hard to follow how it is a sawed off shotgun when it wasn’t sawed off. But it is California. I have cousins out there and talk to them frequently.
Get them to move. (Unless they’re liberals!)
They are not liberal at all. They were born there and live in rural towns north of SF. They want to stay to try to improve their communities for the benefit of their kids and grandkids. Besides, they would have to learn a new language if they moved here.
Sorry; English doesn’t work that way.
Texan isn’t that difficult. Had the company I aced an interview with not gone belly up between the interview and the offer, I’d be speaking it now.
Nevada isn’t California, and we welcome conservatives with open, sometimes concealed carry arms...
I was just goofing. I know a couple that moved down here from Northern Michigan. It took them a while to understand the phrases we use. They have been here about 15 years and can speak East Texas. But they still have that Michigan twang.
some months I buy more than that. Last month was only two but one was the biggest $$ I’ve spent on one.
I’m sure they have planned out their battle carefully -— what questions to ask, when to ask them, and who will do the asking. Either Graham threw a monkey wrench into their plan, or he’s part of it. I haven’t been watching. Did they seem discombobulated by it? (I don’t mean they were outraged; of course they’d feign outrage. But, did it seem to throw them out of sync?).
Her standard answer should be “Not relevant to the role I will have as a Supreme Court Justice.”.
