Biden has been lying about the very fine people comments from the get go, and I have to say that until Pence set the record straight the Trump campaign has done an abysmal job of responding to this. They could point to the few honest media fact checks of the event that show Biden is lying. They could run an ad contrasting Bidens content lies with footage of the even showing what President Trump actually said.
Unfortunately Trump badly bungled this in his debate and blew the best opportunity hed ever have to expose Biden as a shameless liar who is actually the one guilty of stoking hate and racial strife in repeating such a vile lie.
It was stunning that Trump just let they pass with nothing more than a finish the quote to Biden.
Having heard this false attack for a couple of years now, scripted basically the same way each time, Trump and his people had to know that it would be used in the debate. Trump should have been ready with his own well rehearsed response. He should have said what Pence did, trashed Wallace for teeing up and letting Biden repeat something Wallace knows to be false, and then asked the viewers to watch the unedited video of that press conference or read the unedited transcript of it.
Yet with an audience of 70 million watching, President Trump did none of that. It was stupefying and mind boggling how he let that opportunity pass.
Since I have never twatted I don't know the rules, but can't The President of the United States force twatter to pull absolute lies about him?
I'd like to see him shut down their entire operation and claim it is because of 'NATIONAL SECURITY' and he cannot disclose the details.
Then arrest jacksplatt and put him in GITMO.
Two days later do the same thing to google, shut it down, and then fakebook.
Let them scream, and the President can claim that his "intelligence sources" made him do it to protect the National Security.
Maybe a slight bit heavy handed, but F'em since they can't take a yoke.
