The Dems, early on, believed that PDJT’s team would not be able to overturn their biased court rulings allowing them to count votes posted after the election and accepted up tom9 days after the election. They also believed that they would get away with removing witnesses and allowing ballot harvesting, (all approved by like minded state and federal judges). But PDJTs team was way ahead of them and vigorously challenged these rulings, winning almost all of them, (including in Texas where the county that wanted to send unsolicited absentee ballot applications to all registered voters and the Wisconsin Supreme Court’s recently ruling denying an extension of accepting late delivered ballots). Team Trump has been on top of these from day one.

Massachusetts news item...the Commonwealth botched a mailing of ballots to some residents. The ballots were okay but instructions were wrong. These instructions
were actually for the primary election and
say “Sept 1”. The statement came from Secretary of the Commonwealth Bill Galvin.

During his days in the state legislature Galvin was nicknamed The Prince of Darkness...a devilish nickname...they would ram through bills in late night sessions hoping people wouldn’t notice.
The Sept 1 primary was when RFK’s grandson
Joe Kennedy III unsuccessfully challenged
incumbent senator Markey.

In the 2016 final election and in the Sept 1 primary here in MA, I did early voting. The only location for that was city hall. Fast and easy. Regular precinct for me is a library a few blocks away.

Here you go to polling place and give your
address and name as you enter and leave and they cross it off.You are not asked to
show ID.To board a plane or check in at a motel, you must...not for voting.

[Disclaimer: I work for USPS]
Mad magazine song parody of Deck the Halls:
Wrap your gift with fingers agile
Fa la la la la, la la la la
Send it off and mark it fragile
Fa la la...
There’s no reason to feel nervous
You can trust the Postal Service!
See the package fly to Philly
Through the air to Cousin Billy
It will wind up in Savannah
Via Nome and Butte, Montana...

The Wife and I have been voting by mail (absentee ballots) for some years now just for convenience and drop them in the USPS mailbox. I no longer trust the USPS with so many incidents of those ballots found in ditches and such.

We now will fill out our ballots and I will personally drop them off at a physical voting location on November 3. Absentee ballot folks can do that legally. It'a more likely that mail in ballots will be counted than trusting the USPS to get them in time to be counted in some States. Once the polling place closes, they include all absentee ballots that have been put in their special boxes and sent on through the system along with the those who stood in line.

Yup. Make no mistake. These two idiots would have NO problem with any of us on Free Republic being put to a wall.

I was thinking the same. The push for in person voting going on now from Dems comes after state courts have been striking down “count forever” rules they were putting in place.

Steve Bannon has been talking about this for a couple weeks on his Warroom Pandemic podcast, saying the Dems are scaring the sh*t out of their own voters.

Some of the research posted on LS twitter feed seems to suggest this may be true. https://twitter.com/LarrySchweikart You don’t need to be on twitter to read Twitter. The link should send you there :)

One more thing: if you’re worried about a giant crowd on Election Day, take it from my sister, who works the polls in swing states: Early voting, if your state allows it, is the best. It prevents you showing up on Election Day and finding out you already voted, if you know what I mean.

I always tell democrats to vote the day after the election. Lines are smaller, and there’s free day-old pizza sitting on the county clerk’s filing cabinet.

Because covid Death lies there, waiting!

[Monty Python's Holy Grail - IMDB]
Tim: Follow. But! Follow only if ye be men of valor! For the entrance to this cave is guarded by a creature so foul, so cruel, that no man yet has fought with it... and lived! BONES of full fifty men lie *strewn* about its lair! So! Brave knights! If you do doubt your courage or your strength, come no further, for death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth...
