That’s because testing positive and actually having the disease are two different things. All testing positive means is that the person has been exposed to the virus. The media and most of the medical-industrial complex have always conflated the two circumstances when reporting “cases”.
He was positive on Thursday and is going home by Monday. That doesn’t seem like a “turn for the worst.
That seems like a nothingburger.
He’s 95 by the way. And many people ARE asymptomatic. This virus is simply not even as bad as the flu, unless you are old and/or infirm.
Average people should not even concern themselves with it. My wife and I don’t. We treat it like the bird flu, swine flu, etc. A non-event.
The lockdown and masks, OTOH, are a royal pain.
“He had to take life saving meds that are not even fully approved by the FDA in some cases.”
You don’t know that. It could have just as easily been prophylactic in nature and not “life saving”. Stop being such a drama queen.
Seeing as how numerous people have threatened to try to contaminate the President and his staff and in the past we have seen Dan Savage to this to candidate Gary Bauer, the means of transmission still should be uncovered.
There is some thought that it happened at the bipartisan debate where numerous infected individuals were on site.

Perhaps Trumps experience will make people realize that the important thing is the treatment, not the impossible task of keeping people from getting it...

Bingo!
>>The reality is that, no matter what, well all be exposed to it and some of us will get it
Yep. And the world is dragging its collectivist heels.
Yeah, they’re dragging their heels, alright. The biggest reason is....they’re afraid of death. Or, maybe more specifically, they’re afraid of dying horribly in a hospital
from this disease.
That’s likely (my opinion) the reason the media is getting away with their propaganda: The vast majority is afraid of death.
I know...’Duh!”, right?
People will do everything they can...and a lot of what they’re TOLD to do...to avoid dying. Yet they don’t realize (and perhaps they should) that EVERY ONE OF THEM WILL DIE.
There are those of us for whom death holds no fear over us. Maybe the process of doing so may hold some trepidation, but there are some to whom dying leads to something much, much better.
And that’s all I’m going to say about that.
Groundless hysteria.
The number of hospitalized cases of Covid in America are grossly overstated if you go in with a broken hip or a heart attack and you happen to have Covid you are a Covid hospitalization.
I am not being a drama queen. I am being positive. This is actually good news about the medications and what they can do for some people.
Now he doesn’t need a mask, he had it and cannot get anyone around him infected.
Ironically, if you’re sick, wearing a mask will not stop the spread.
But, they keep telling us that the mask is not to protect you from the virus, but, that, you don’t give it to someone else. Which is it? It, only, seems to matter when it can politically give Bolshie’s an advantage. So far, there is nothing that will make me vote for a Bolshie.
