My hunch is it is the chemo and the procedure to transplant, and not the transplant itself.
The virus needs the body cell to replicate. Shut down those cells for a bit and the virus gets its inserted RNA “ washed off”
The only cure that counts. Death!

When you’ve reduced the entirety of the pursuit of happiness to what people do with their genitals don’t be surprised if sex and what helps there to be more sex without shame or consequences becomes totally protected “rights” even as everything else becomes subject to their ever increasing demands for being regulated and taxed.

Could have done more, much more by putting early infected into isolation the way we used to ... but the Left wrapped up the disease in civil rights.
The virus and some genetic material can be found in other tissue beide white cells...so even if one does not get immune system collapse the virus can persist even if receiving ART. We are still finding out tbe long term sequelae of HIV infection. When the virus is completely eradicated from person in all cells...then we can say “cure.” As of now it is a war of attrition. Living with HIV infection is a better description. Uh....don’t get hiv in the first place?

I would imagine taking immune suppressing drugs post stem cell transplant would make all sorts of cancers rear up...
Look up recent photos of him and tell me that wasn’t the face of AIDS.
Brown remained unrepentant about the behavior which infected him with HIV and continued with the deviant sexual behavior after his “cure.” He either suffered a recurrence of his initial infection, or became reinfected again through his deviant sexual behavior.
I’m opting for the first, though “science” will try to hide the truth for a political agenda, to “offer hope” to other homosexuals.
AIDS is a judgement of God. He won’t be stymied so easily with a “cure.”
