Why would Glover implicate Taylor in his operation if he knew he was being recorded? That makes no sense. No drugs or money were found because Police backed off and allowed Taylor’s boyfriend to be alone in that apartment for a further 10 minutes. PLenty of time to flush product or stash cash. Taylor is dead because she was in the drug game.

You know the officers testified that they waited about 45 seconds after knocking before bashing the door in, right? Are you proposing that they were able to hide money and drugs in far less than the 10 minutes you assume in such a way that even dogs could never find it?

Why would Glover lie about the money being one place if it was really another?

Can you really not think of any reasons? Like protecting his new stash by directing the listeners to the old one. Why implicate Taylor? Maybe he was irritated about the new and non-criminal boyfriend influencing her to leave his organization. Maybe he just didn’t care or thought swatting them would be funny. Some people lie about everything to everyone because they can, especially criminals.

It’s pretty obvious that he lied about Ms. Taylor having $8000 of his cash, because it wasn’t there. The thing speaks for itself. Unless you are entertaining the idea that the cops are incompetent at searching or that they are thieves.

After the shots were fired, the officers backed out of the residence and did not make entry completely into the apartment for another 10 minutes. That’s plenty time to destroy evidence. Are you also aware that there was a homicide victim found in a vehicle rented by Taylor? She was up to her eyeballs in criminal activity. It amazes me that you continue to defend this woman, even after all the evidence points to her guilt.

Do you even know what $8000 dollars looks like in cash? Destroy it how in 10 minutes? Stop being ridiculous.

If they had waited properly after knocking instead of switching to dynamic entry mode after becoming impatient in less than 3 minutes (that’s the timeline between knocking and calling in shots fired) in the middle of the freaking night, nobody would be dead, nobody would be injured and the city wouldn’t be out $12 mil in civil payouts and who knows how much in BLM damage.

I certainly can’t wake up, put some clothes on and make it to my front door in less than 3 minutes, can you?

This is an inherent problem in unconstitutional no-knock warrants, pitting the self defense rights of both parties against each other. Nobody freaking wins. It’s bad for everyone and breeds bad police work because resorting to strongarm tactics is easier than finesse.

Once upon a time, warrants could not be served after 10 p.m. for this very reason. And if you are going to knock and announce in the middle of the night, use a bull horn, lights and siren.

The Feds are still investigating the legality of the warrant because the Postal Inspector disputed some of the facts therein. Be prepared for civil rights charges against Jaynes for embroidering the affidavit information.

As for the body in the rental car, Ms. Taylor was cleared of involvement and a rival dealer convicted and jailed for the crime. It is not germane to the discussion because prior suspicion or even prior convictions do not suspend due process.

I am not defending Ms. Taylor so much as I am decrying sloppy and reckless police work that results in needless death, physical harm, public mayhem and damage to the public weal.

The cops who screw up a warrant service like this the same type of obedient nimrods they send out to confiscate guns.
