Exactly right, Cindy could have voted Biden without ever saying a word. It is her that was doing the pushing.

I am tired of it.

I am tired of the Left, the Political Left, the Educational (I should say "indoctrinational") Left, the Media Left freely engaging in the politics of personal destruction and outright UNABASHED LYING with ABSOLUTELY NOBODY-AND I MEAN NOBODY pushing back on them.

This began in the Seventies, and has been a steady and ongoing progression to where we are now.

What they did to Ronald Reagan was just a taste. When they began their demonization of George W. Bush, at first, I thought it was a fine thing that he wouldn't deign to fire back at his critics, since it was "unpresidential". He was playing the adult in the room. What did that get for him? It turned him into a passive punching bag, and as time went by, I got angrier and angrier that he not only wouldn't stick up for himself, he would not only refuse to stick up for himself, he refused to even stick up for his policies.

I was a supporter, but over time, I grew to despise that punching bag aspect of him and his administration. The only one who showed any fight was Rumsfeld.

That emboldened these nasty, evil, petty, anti-American creatures on the Left, and their embrace of those tactics only grew bolder and more open.

What we see today as a result, is that there is no calumny that is out of bounds, from openly hypothesizing about Sarah Palin's son, saying it was really her daughter's, to the peeing on the mattress accusation that was bandied about and treated as the truth by the entire spectrum of the Left. And now, this woman who was probably calling the shots for her husband as his illness progressed (though knowing what we know about McCain now, he wouldn't have needed anyone to call the shots to take the shots at Trump and play his vital role in the spreading of the slander about Trump that was in the Steele Dossier) has the nerve to open her fat yap about anything-

No. NO. Trump should entirely let loose with both barrels, even if only a pea-shooter was needed or not at all.

It is TIME someone punched the scummy Left in their collective noses. And thank GOD President Trump is inclined to do just that.

I am sick and tired of the "Oh, it is beneath him" or "Oh, it is unpresidental" or "Oh, it is just mean and petty" responses.

I wondered yesterday when her announcement came out if the President would take the opportunity tweet something. Didn’t take long.

I agree with you. I have been lamenting some of his “tweets” since he took office. But nothing we can do or say.

I voted for him and will vote for him again as well as having donated $ to his campaign. But he certainly comes off as quite petty at times, imho.

Must disagree.

It’s called push back. I’m so sick of the swamp RINO’s just sitting back letting all the rats just run wild without saying anything.

For a split second, I saw this Trump tweet being read to Cinderella by Stephanopoulos this morning on ABC. The look on her face was priceless.

I actually had personal experience with McCain when I was in the USN and was in the training squadron he commanded after he was released by the North Vietnamese.

That experience was a burden to me.

One of my faults, and people close to me tell me this, is my personal loyalty to people who have earned it with me and institutions that deserve it from me. I had a retired Army Colonel call me to her office one day, and she told me frankly that my personal loyalty, while generally commendable in her eyes, was a character fault if I didn’t govern it. She was right, of course, and I knew it having heard it from others, but when she said it, I took a hard look.

When I was a kid, I viewed McCain the same way I viewed every other POW. As a military dependent, I wore the POW bracelets and knew many of the POW’s by name, even if relatively few Americans did.

I viewed them as heroes deserving of my support for their hardships...Stockdale, Denton, McCain, etc.

Then when I joined the USN and served under him for a few months, I saw him close up and was even his plane captain trainee a few times.

That became a burden to me, because long, long after I should have recognized him for the bitter, corrupt, personal partisan he was, I refused to do so because he was Navy, I had served under him, and had supported his cause. The loyalty to the US Navy ran deep with me.

I was lucky, after defending him here on FR for a period of time, I had a Freeper gently educate me without blistering my skin, as so often happens around here. If he had taken that approach, I would have dug my heels in, because that is the way I am. But he completely understood why I acted towards McCain as I did, and helped me understand why I was wrong to defend him.

As time went on, Hoo Boy, was that Freeper right. I wish I could remember his name...because I would like to say thank you.

Thank you, Mathews. As you can see from my posts, I wasn’t always this way.

I am what is called a “2x4 Person”. That means, sometimes, to hear something or learn a lesson, I need to be smacked in the side of the head with a 2x4.

It isn’t that I can’t learn things...sometimes...I am just dense or oblivious.

John McCain, like Joe Biden, was an advocate of Endless Wars and Cheap Labor.

All Never Trumpers are.

Endless Wars and Cheap Labor have done extraordinary damage to the country and I am extremely proud of President Trump for working to reverse that damage.
