They used that same “rule” in Washington years ago when the Republican candidate for Governor was in the lead. I think they needed four vote counts to finally get the “correct” number (”Okay - stop the recount!”) which put the Dem in office.

It is a state LEGISLATURE issue per the US Constitution. It’s UNCONSTITUTIONAL for the state Supreme Court to usurp the state legislature’s responsibility to make that law.
I keep hoping POTUS/DOJ ..... SOMEONE has a plan to put a stop to this, and EVERY cheat scam, planned by lefties, for this election.

This has precedent. Courts can’t write law. They try and try, but this won’t fly on appeal.
Here is why we need another SCOTUS appointment right now. These state decisions will ultimately end up at SCOTUS as did the Florida Supreme Court’s in Bush v Gore.
By allowing vote by mail outside of the absentee system, Democrats created this “crisis”.
Now they use the excuse that ballots may arrive late to change the election rules.
The legislature should eliminate vote by mail, which would cure all the problems.
The 5 Democrat justices on Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court were Soros backed during an non-presidential election year.
They were the ones who unilaterally threw out the legislature’s congressional boundaries and drew their own, favoring Democrats. This gave Democrats 2 more seats in 2018 from Pennsylvania.
The PA Legislature was blocked at every turn.
Just as the PA Legislature has been blocked in stopping the Governor’s arbitrary, destructive and personally vindictive unilateral Covid mandates.
