Shemot/Exodus 22:17 is part of a set of laws given directly to by God to Moses, beginning at Exodus 21:1 which says:
“And these are the ordinances that you shall set before them.”
Note the “before them” at the end of that verse, it’s important.
Ravi Rashi’s commentary on this vers is as follows...
“before them: But not before gentiles. Even if you know that they [gentiles] judge a certain law similarly to the laws of Israel, do not bring it to their courts, for one who brings Jewish lawsuits before gentiles profanes the [Divine] Name and honors the name of idols to praise them (other editions: to give them importance), as it is said: “For not like our Rock [God] is their rock, but [yet] our enemies judge [us]” (Deut. 32:31). When [we let] our enemies judge [us], this is testimony to [our] esteem of their deity. — [From Tanchuma 3]”
So the application of Jewish law by a gentile, profanes the Divine name. The moral of the story is, without context, one should be careful in applying biblical scripture to day to day habbenings.
A final note. If you want a direct, accurate translation of the old testament, go to a Jewish source. The OT was written in Hebrew, so the contextual interpretation is more accurate if you go to a Jewish scholar, and one who has Hebrew as a first language, not a Latin scholar.

Would you care to explain the doctrine which may be translated as not quite and explain how the margin notes added much later, written down after Christ, rightly can take precedence over the meaning of Scripture: especially anything that did not serve the writers of said margin notes or their disciples?

Understand this: blm is a demonic group whose core beliefs revolve around “Ancestor Worship”. They call upon deceased of George Floyd, Mike Brown, etc to take physical form again to assist them in the “resistance”. They are praying to the dead; asking for wisdom & protection. And this woman is their leader.
This is what we’re dealing with. They do not want peace or justice or conversations. They don’t want more food stamps or job training or prison reform.(Maybe short term).

Yes. I am very glad someone showed me that link, I watched it all. I shared it on my FB page. I may start following Hamilton on YouTube, or browse his videos for a while first.
Truly BLM and these ladies especially, are under the influence of evil. No doubt about it.
