I’m not sure NYS would fit the bill.
Unfortunately for us our legislature pretty much gave Fredo’s bro carte blanche back in March. And the legislature won’t rescind it.

ALL of the crap politicians have pulled from the beginning spit on the takings clause of the 5th.
As far as our Gov Greg Abbott in Texas? Screw him!

And then the decision will be overturned by Compromised Roberts and the Fab Four.

SCOTUS already destroyed Congress’s power to ban most interstate tariffs (Aricle I, Section 9) by ruling that it was perfectly fine for states to impose sales taxes on goods purchased from out-of-state companies over the internet. So why not?

Sadly, I predicted this — that when the pandemic was over that some ‘brave’ judge would rule the whole emergency decree ‘unconstitutional. What’s the legal term? Moot? Way-ta-go, Judge!

They could play "Hey, Man, Nice Shot" redone in a gentle, show-tunesy way, similar to how "Down With the Sickness" was re-done in the Dawn of the Dead remake.

I don’t know that one, but am pleased to bow to your considered judgement.

He as deciding vote that left opened casinos BUT banned people from going to church in NV. I think even Gorsuch wrote a cynical and sarcastic decision on it. (Caesers Palace open, Cavalry church closed.)

The lawsuit did not challenge the Wolf administration's order requiring people to wear masks in public.
I wonder why the plaintiff didn't challenge the mask order?
