My mom on her 90th birthday said “Oh to be 84 again!”
“Why 84?”
“Well, that’s when the arthritis started - sure wish I didn’t have to deal with that!”
Thankfully it was a bit chilly at the lake on her 90th. Earlier in the week she had talked about going water skiing to celebrate!
When she was around 95 and in the stores I asked her if it bothered her that the clerks spoke to her in such simple terms - as if she couldn’t understand them. (She was 100% still there and still drove!)
“Oh - heavens no! They are just being nice and trying to help me!”
Somewhere I was watching some VERY OLD videos of Biden. He seemed to be charming and funny.
