this is in my neighborhood and thought about going. i would have liked to but worried that crazies would be inspired by the shooting in Portland last night. i worried but really didn’t think it would actually happen. then it actually did. i’m glad no one got hurt - but things are out of control. Garcetti is just a bigger city version of Wheeler. good grief.

There are more than a few FReepers that believe that most on the foaming left have an antipathy to guns, and will not use guns.
I believe there are more than a few on the foaming left that can and will acquire guns and will use them. People who dismiss this do so at their own peril.
A group of one or two friends can be there for each other and can be an important team to help themselves and others throughout life.
I am copying Mr. McGee, as I believe he gets what is now occurring better than almost any FReeper today - as he wrote about these things YEARS ago.
