They walk and talk like Communists, but their power comes from control of big corporations. Let that sink in.

In 2016, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) found that 72% of HR managers were women; in 2017, Payscale.com reported that a whopping 86% of HR generalists were women

The United States Department of Labor found that of the 74,000 crane and tower operators working in America in 2014, only 0.2% were women.

The Left figured out how to use corporations to spread their poison at least as effectively as they use government. While this was going on, the Right was talking about democracy in the Middle East and Paul Ryan and tax cuts or something.

I am sure there are decent, responsible people who work in HR.

But, like Bigfoot, I have yet to come across one. In 35 years of experience, they are mostly a pain in the ass, wannabe managers, who do nothing but sing Kumbaya and tell you that (insert name here) needs another chance.

The di office is mostly female, minority and very liberal.

Surprised there aren't mandatory "race sensitivity" training classes. Thought I predict these are coming sometime next year.

Right now, voluntary calls at the office on race issues are aimed one way. All things white are bad.

Glad I'm retired from corporate life. Somehow, I suspect that I wouldn't get along well with the current crop of HR zampolits.

You have corporations that take their orders from government, and a government that takes its orders from corporations, and corporations that can do the dirty work of political persecution and economic penalization that the government cannot, at least in Constitutional theory, do.

If I had to put a label on the current state of affairs, it would be Neo-fascism.

Cultural Marxists have been infiltrating schools, Hollywood, unions, government, MSM, businesses and churches for many decades.

The Frankfurt School’s minions were major players in it, since the 1940’s. Our children have been their primary target for indoctrination, to eventually swing America socialist once critical mass was achieved.

They though Obama was the final push. Then hoped on Hillary. Trump has stymied them and they’re pissed.

People need to realize that the HR dept. works for
the employer, not the employee.

Yep. Republicans became the tax cut only party and forfeited cultural and moral issues to the left’s delight. Too bad we didn’t have a fighter until Trump who can so easily wrap the left’s immortality around their necks!

I remember when “HR” was run by 1 or 2 people and the sign on their door said “Personnel”.

The purpose of HR is to avoid expensive lawsuits against the company for discrimination or hostile work environment.

You want to change corporate culture? You need to change the legal-risk environment they operate under.

Or why the Chinese or Indians or any other country who rewards merit rather than these idiocies will be beating the crap out of us in the near future.

“The Left figured out how to use corporations to spread their poison at least as effectively as they use government.”

Not just corporations, but every other institution you can think of.

“People need to realize that the HR dept. works for
the employer, not the employee.”

Absolutely true. HR’s mission, first to last, is to try to keep the company from getting sued.

I’m very recently retired from a large corporation, and have always despised and feared HR. Whatever story they hear first is taken as truth in an “investigation”, and they use the logic of “Well, he wouldn’t deny it if it weren’t true.” I have seen several people fired over completely false accusations. At least one was terminated for a very trivial and commonplace matter, simply because he had previously defended himself successfully against several false charges.

HR is not your friend, unless you’re a malicious a-hole.

This author is being kind. Your HR department is actively working against the best interests of your company. Whatever you do, don’t let them anywhere near Recruiting or Talent Acquisition.

Some of the nastiest people I've ever encountered in my professional life work in HR, ready to pounce if you should run afoul of the PC Nazis, for whom they are the major enforcer. Indeed, I would go so far as to say a lot of people go into this type of work because they enjoy being PC Nazi enforcers.

Companies are damaging their bottom line by hiring them, but too many see them as a form of insurance rather than as a form of termite infestation, which is closer to the truth.

I remain convinced that one of the key reasons for the irrational hatred of President Donald J. Trump is because his policies were promoting a tight labor market where these people had to do actual work in finding, keeping and recruiting talent rather than dole out jobs like favors according to their warped PC sensitivities.

I actually have the good fortune of being acquainted with such a guy in my present job. He is old school, as they say, and not one of the last to start work and the first to leave as are most HR people.

He is also expected to do other jobs for the company.
