This is just cover for Durham and Barr issuing a report instead of indictments.

You said it not me.

An internal audit found only minor clerical errors. I investigated myself once and found myself completely innocent. “The complete absence of material errors should instill confidence in the FBI,” FBI Acting General Counsel Dawn Browning said in a sworn statement. In a sworn statement. Oh that’s good. Now we know it’s true because the FBI would not lie under oath.

Folks, this is why the government cannot be trusted. It cannot check itself against fraud.

“found “only one material misstatement and one material omission.””

The founding fathers are turning in their graves. Under the Constitution there should be no secret FISA courts.

The fourth amendment could not be clearer “[t]he right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

The 4th amendment requires describing the place to be searched and the persons or things to be seized. It does not permit listening in on conversations or fishing expeditions to search for evidence of crimes. It clearly does not permit civil forfeiture. It also does not permit entrapment. Unfortunately rogue justices and Congress have allowed the protections of the 4th amendment to be relaxed for expediency and to facilitate the spying of government on citizens taking advantage of technologies unknown to the founding fathers.

Sadly, today’s elected representatives, unlike the founders, enjoy exercising power over the people. Instead of fearing an all powerful big government they are drawn to the exercise of power like a moth to a lighted candle. Unfortunately the moth isn’t getting burned, it is we the people who are increasingly feeling the heat from the heavy hand of tyranny.

All this means is that they looked into OTHER cases & found few errors. Which means that what was used on Carter Page & other Trump people was most definitely politically driven. And a whole lotta people still should be facing jail time.

Exactly.

There is no "everybody makes those kind of errors" "they are routine".

Nope. They were most definitely *not* routine.

They were part of the intended coup.

The audit did not specify whether the FBI's Russia investigation, which Trump has repeatedly referred to as a “hoax,” was included in the review.

So which 29 were picked? 29 at random? Or were these the 29 legit warrants out of thousands processed?

So the actual errors should have been red flag obvious.

"An internal audit..."

It became worthless after that.

The message here is that, in general, the FBI does NOT MAKE MAJOR ERRORS in their FISA applications.

Which means that the Carter Page errors were an anomaly, which points to intent. With a real media, they would report that this shows the Obama administration took active steps to mislead the FISA court to spy on their political enemies.

"So, does this mean that the audit was a whitewash, or that only Trump-related FISA requests were grossly abused?"

I'm taking that it was only the Trump-related FISA requests that were deliberately altered and the procedure abused for political purposes.

Right, an internal audit done by Wray’s FBI. Wray has been stonewalling and covering up for the FBI since be became the Director. Nothing out of the FBI today is trustworthy, especially if it relates the FBI actions during the Russia hoax. The Deep State has never been deeper than it is in the FBI.
