This makes me so infuriated its not funny. Hope do not know how this mayors and governors sleep at night. They can take their social distancing, stay safe, and masks and shove it.
Preach it!! And now Dr. Frauduci wants us to wear goggles. This little arse orrifice needs a good tarring and feathering.
Well DUH - that’d be March through June when everything was shut down.
Why is this surprising? Oh yeah - Orange Man bad.
tar and feather FauXi with pieces of HIS masks which fly
on highways, trees, waterways, parking lots,
because THEY WERE NEVER COLLECTED.
Self inflicted. Not a surprise when the government shuts everything down.
Quemas tu casa para quemar la del vecino.
You set fire to your own house to burn down the neighbor's house. This has gone beyond the terms of sociopath and psychopath. It is out-of-this-world mental illness.
Yeah I see masks laying in parking lots all the time now.
This is going to keep happening until Republicans get the guts to hold Fauci and his fellow travelers responsible. They can do it — if they plan it out and play offense.
That will put him in the record books!
32% is ANNUALIZED. Not quarterly.
The economy shrank less than 10%.
Bs article.
No - perhaps you just don’t understand the terminology?
New York's June Unemployment Rate Hit 15.7%
I had to dig to find that. And I'm betting this is lowball.
It ain't Trump's doing.
It is STILL the worst drop EVER - with the closest previous drop coming in 1921
I love how you are screaming the "32% is ANNUALIZED" as if it nullifies what has happened somehow - as if it isn't the worst drop in recorded history.
Listen carefully: IT IS THE WORST DROP IN RECORDED HISTORY. IT HAS NEVER BEEN THIS BAD IN ANY QUARTER. Put it in any package you want - tie a ribbon around it - put a bow on it - and put some perfume on it - but it still stinks.
Got it? Because this head in the sand propaganda is worse than what they did over at MSNBC when Obama was president.
It is a quarterly figure.
Right?
(Patiently waiting for your reply)
Oh.
(Light bulb)
Got it. :)
Alright, 10%
I suggest you familiarize yourself with financial terms...because it's not hype when an article says "economy shrank in the second quarter by the fastest rate since the government began keeping track of gross domestic." That is a true statement. When it says the economy "contracted at a 32.9 percent seasonally adjusted annualized rate in the April through June" - that is also not BS.
When it says "Personal spending fell by $1.57 trillion" - that is also not BS.
So - your post is incorrect. Just because you don't want to believe it to be true - doesn't make it not true. If you can't see the disaster we are headed towards in that statement - considering the amount of government debt this president and this congress are laying on us right now - I cannot help.
Have a good day.
When the election has passed, and the danger from this worst-ever contagion evaporates, I don't expect suburbanites will want to come back, and their companies are likely to agree. Why return to higher expenses, more crime, and long commutes when everybody is perfecting the art of steering clear of sh!+hole cities?
But with the wealthy targets disappearing, Sh!+holistaners will creep into the nearby suburban neighborhoods to ply their trade. Violence in surrounding 'burbs is likely to increase, better to move beyond the immediate buffer-suburb, if you want to remain safe.
It is a 10% correction.
10%.
