I don’t have a problem with the Federal Government charged by us to oversee its property and assets looking out for our interests as taxpayers by protecting property against deliberate damage. After all, if the thousands in taxes I have to pay to build a local town hall or courthouse are burned up in Antifa/BLM riot, I am going to be require to pay that money again.

So I think the Federal government does have a role in upholding its own law, especially when the State and local authorities won’t.

But I wouldn’t stop there. In cases where state behavior deliberately undermines federal law (such as declaring a sanctuary city, refusing to enforce immigration law, or outright flaunting that disregard of the law) then I don’t have a problem with using the purse strings as a weapon against them.

Because their behavior against the Federal Government is being used as a weapon.

When they start apologizing for editing things President Trump has said to misrepresent him and lie about what he said.

How’s that work for them?

Would they drink a cup of coffee that was mostly pure, except for a tablespoon of rat poison in it? Remember, it’s mostly pure. Only a little bit was bad.
