It's even worse than the letter says. It was just revealed that "Police" Chief Pazen ordered the few officers on the scene to evacuate and leave the peaceful pro-police crowd to the mob's attacks. The commander on the scene disobeyed the order and tried to protect them.

Pazen was hand picked by Mayor Hancock to be his puppet and he proving to be that in spades.

One more thing. It also came out that Pazen called the organizer and asked him to cancel what has been an annual event the last six years. His implicit threat was if you hold it anyway you're on your own.

DPD and the Highway Patrol, which provides Capitol security, have abandoned Civic Center to the Antifa mob. The Capitol is covered with graffitti, the Civil War memorial statue pulled down. The park has been abandoned to a mix of Antifa and homeless in tents. Polis, Hancock and Pazen are disgraces who refuse to defend the City.
