Muir was beloved by liberals.
Much, much more importantly, they have refused to concede an inch on Margaret Sanger for 100 years. They have flatly refused to even discuss her racism and eugenics because both of those were the beating heart of Wilsonian progressivism.
And yesterday the mobs metaphorically hung her upside down in the public square.
Muir was one of their own enviroloon high priests. So many of these rampaging fools will get theirs soon enough. Mr. Useful Idiot meet Mr. Long Knife.

Dear Sierra Club: Either continue to honor John Muir (while acknowledging his “racism” if true), or disband your organization!!!!
The “derogatory statements” may have very well have been true and based on specific events and persons. Why do Liberals assume that indigenous persons and other non-Whites as being above the pitfalls of Original Sin or (from a non-Theist view) human vice?
