Flame away, but this is an unforced error and just a stupid thing to say in my opinion. I see no need to clutch to the Confederate flag. Stupid statement!
Well come visit some of the battlefields that surround my home- and visit the cemeteries that hold our dead- the dead that fought for their brothers and family and not to keep blacks enslaved- then You’d know that the confederate flag means more to some people than the American flag because it is the flag of OUR COUNTRY- old glory is the flag of OUR NATION.
All of you freepers that call confederates traitors make me sick- like you would have fought against your kin and been just fine with it- what the hell kind of people are you that dont understand that Robert e Lee had NO CHOICE.

Those memorials were paid for by donatiooofthe mothers who never saw their sons again- it what would you know of maternal grief or a father’s misery because our Johnnies didn’t come marching home! So we lot a statue in every town square to remember those that fell in far away places.
the Confederate flag is gorgeous- a symbol of courage and faith and country...and Trump grew ten feet taller today to any southerner who gets to read his comments.
