“Actually Congress consist of both the House of Reps and the Senate.”
Perhaps we’re accidentally bumping heads here. In my original post, I said that Congress has nothing to do with appointing or approving appointments to SCOTUS, since only the Senate is involved in the approval. I realize that the Senate is a part of Congress, but by itself, it is not Congress.
Oddly, Congress does have a role in the approval of a Vice President should one die, resign, or become President. I have no idea why the 25th Amendment did this, unless it was acknowledging that the Senate is now just a more exclusive version of the House.

What do you have against Justices Thomas and Justice Alito? They're old.
Justice Thomas is 72 and Alito is 70. If President Trump is not re-elected, and I think there is about a 50/50 chance of this happening, a Democrat will pick their replacements, as well as those of RBG and Breyer.
It's a pretty tall order to expect Thomas and Alito to sit on the bench for up to another 8-12 years.

What Two Houses Make up Congress? The Senators are called Senator Soand so, and the congress men are called Congressman Soandso.
The Vice president is the deciding vote in the House of Rep when necessary.
BTW I am a naturalized citizen so I had to study it.

The VP can make or break a tie in the Senate. The V.P. is the President of the Senate, and was supposed to have a more important role in the Senate, but the first V.P., John Adams was not well liked, so the first Senate restricted his involvement.
I taught American history, so I had to study it too!

“The Vice president is the deciding vote in the House of Rep when necessary.”
The Vice President has no vote, necessary or otherwise in the House only the Senate to make or break a tie vote. The House has no role in the confirmation of Federal Judges/Justices, which was my original point, only the Senate.
