Is conservatism racist?
I was brought up with Christian values. Chief among them was do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I consider that a conservative value. Maybe I am naïve, but if good manners, politeness, and showing a little respect are considered conservative, then I am racist.

When everything you believe in is racist, you have to redefine the term to keep using it as a campaign slogan against your enemies.

That depends on how you define racism. It is bad by the original definition. The new progressive one being pushed now has increasingly little to do with the original. It a mere political slogan now So of course there is as much merit to the 'modern' definition as there is to the ideas of whoever runs against you party for office.
