Chicago Teachers Union vs. parents.
Mayor Groot must have gotten the word from the union they do not want the schools to open. So let’s ramp up the hysteria again to justify their case.
Prove me wrong.
It’s really very simple.
The red state mayors (in most cases) and governors aren’t playing the lockdown game very well. The media is screaming at them to lockdown and they aren’t.
Ergo, the blue states are seeing that if the economy is going to be destroyed again, they will have to do all the locking down whether it needs to happen or not, and the answer is “not.”
What the blue state tyrants are going to find is that the tolerance for lockdowns is done.
I posit this: the democrats are talking about flipping red states. If they impose lockdowns again, I think they better be worried about the opposite happening. I’m not talking about the deep blue states, but the states that tilt.
This is what happens when you allow massive covid-spreading protests. Protests were outside, which probably helped a bit, but otherwise are exactly the kind of mass gathering that is going to spread a virus.
First, people are packed together; if they “separate” when not moving, they naturally congregate at other times.
Second, while they might wear masks, they are not doing it right, they pull them down, they touch them constantly.
Third, they are screaming, Chanting loudly, and singing. All things known to generate particles.
Fourth, they are “so important”, people who are sick will NOT skip them. It is guaranteed that lots of positive people were at the protests.
Fifth, they touch each other. They hold hands, hug, bump.
Sixth — they are not washing their hands. it is an 8-hour protest. Where are they going to the bathroom? in the street, or in porta-potties, or slipping into local restaurants. Thousands of people using the same facilities, and many of them outdoors, with no access to running water or soap.
SO yes, they got covid, didn’t have many symptoms because they are young, went back home, spread it to their families, who spread it to friends. Then they started going to parties. In the east coast, they went to Virginia beach, where they infected bar owners and older restaurant workers; Virginia’s entire spike is in the tidewater area.
First, you need to be sure there is any real uptick in cases or if it is just another scare campaign. I don’t like what I am hearing about how these “upticks” are being counted. Seems like some of this is being done to supplement the problems that can occur with the mail-in-voting & what the real reason for doing that is. When all this is said & done, I hope everyone who is implicated in all this phoniness can be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
