A good number of us want to reduce mail-in voting because the chances for fraud are much, much higher with vote-by-mail. We have enough problems with boxes of ballots being "discovered" after counting has commenced, with most of those "found" votes being Democratic.
My big reason for reducing mail-in votes to a minimum is the Postal Union. That's like the neighborhood butcher having a very heavy thumb on the scale. Without assurance that postal workers cannot influence an election, mail-in voting is OUT.
If you want to have more voters participate in places like nursing homes, hospitals, homeless shelters, and such, the local election commission can send out officers to collect votes from those places. You don't need a formal voting place, just an impartial and responsible person, answerable to the commission, to do the ballot harvesting.
Not operatives of one political party or another.
Just as not just anybody can bake bread for sale, not just anybody can collect ballots. Just those blessed by the local election commission.
We said the same thing about Bill Clinton. They said the same thing about Bush. We said it about Obama. Now they’re saying it about Trump.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
All this fabricated, manic hyperbole is proof they are scared you-know-whatless.
Because there’s absolutely no need for it, if the polls are real.
