And we’re supposed to be celebrating the fact that 4.8 million people who had no business being out of work in the first place are actually going back? Are you really that stupid? Did you expect those people to say something along the lines of “wow, we’re allowed to go back to work but I think I’ll just stay home and lose more money?
Not really. Let's say I own a restaurant and I employ 10 people. On March 1 I am forced to close because some nitwit politician believed bad predictions about the danger of a virus. On June 30 I am emailed saying I can reopen and on July 1 everyone comes back in. How many new jobs were created? Are myself and my 10 employees who are doing the exact same thing we were doing before March 1, only now with less money in our savings accounts, part of those newly created jobs? Who do we credit for this economic miracle?
In May, the 'experts' predicted an 8 million more job losses and a unemployment rate of 21%.
Instead we got a two month increase of about 7 million and an 11% rate of unemployment.
If you are a thinking person, it is worth celebrating.
You call me stupid, yet I was only responding to your asinine question of whether the 4.8 million jobs were "new jobs" or people going back to a previous job.
I merely pointed out that your screen name was a good indicator of how your question was on the same level as your IQ.
And you call me stupid!
No, if you're a stupid person it is worth celebrating. If you're a thinking person you're thinking "how could these people have been so stupid?" But I guess that's what you would expect from someone who equates screen names with IQs. I guess you think someone with a screen name like "Einstein" or "Newton" would be the smartest people in the room also. Brilliant.
