Yes, they were some of the very best shows on Rush. I also loved hearing Dr. Williams talk about his wonderful wife and especially how lucky she was to have him as her ever loving husband. He talk about when Mothers Day rolled around he would give her an ironing board or some such thing so she would be able to press his shirts correctly! I think he also got her a mop and a vacuum cleaner to help her to be a great wife and housekeeper. Wonderful sense of humor. He and Dr Sowell are the best of the best. And never forgotten in this household.

I always enjoyed hearing Professor Williams interviews with Professor Sowell when Williams was substitute-hosting for Rush.

Happy Birthday, Dr. Sowell Indeed, and many more. But, Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard (bits of which we memorized in English class, back in the day). My bookmarks include "Studies Prove": Part II (Thomas Sowell). The end of which article contains an epitath of which Professor Sowell said, Ill take it.
Someone should repost that article when the dolorous occasion does arise. Hes distinctly older than I, but he could outlive me.

Thanks for relating that and linking it, cIc.
As usual it’s a great piece by Thomas Sowell and his “I’ll take it” remark is right on.
