The masks dont help. The virus is airborne. It all depends on the concentration of viruses in the air you are breathing(viral load). How do these so called intelligent people think doctors and nurses wearing N-95s and face shields in the ER and on the hospital floors caught it and died?
To those wearing masks, including alone in their cars, yes, it does mean they are smarter. To those only wearing masks when forced to or when you come into close contact with strangers, no.
By the way, does staying home mean you are smarter than people who go out and about with masks?
Means just the opposite ... might as well wear a beanie with a propeller on the top. It is every bit as useful as the masks and doesn’t make the person look like a frightened sheep
The only thing I think when I see someone wearing a face mask is that guy is a MORON! Of course, it’s possible he’s wearing the mask because he’s a politically inspired liberal. The moron label still works.
Are you paying attention?
I’ve only worn a mask once and that was when I visited my primary care doctor. That’s it. Not required when I visit my barber or when going to church!
Even during a follow up visit to my orthopedic surgeon no mask required although all the patients were wearing one, except for me of course.
Get yourself a cheap Pulse Oxymeter from your local pharmacy. ($15-$30+)
Put it on your finger and check your blood oxygen level.
Now put on your favorite mask, and just breath for a while.
Note your Oxy level after 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes.
15 minutes walking in a store with a common procedure mask brought my Dad to tunnel vision level with sweating and tremors.
Now when he's forced to wear one, we have the kind with exhalation valves, to reduce CO2 re-breathing.
It's better, but his blood oxy level still drops a few percent while masked.
(I'm pulling the valve flapper and the N99 filter out of another, to make a Stealth Breathable version.)

It is an IQ test. If you are wearing the usual mask I see, you are an idiot. They do NOT protect you from viruses and are therefore pointless.
Was the Lone Ranger smarter than Tonto?
I can’t hear - but can read speech very well - someone ( store clerk) was trying to tell me to put my cloth mask on my nose (not happening, I couldn’t breathe) ... She lower her mask and yelled... I lowered mine, and laughed at her... She was flustered...
Most physicians I know do not wear masks outside of work
Governor Lee just extended Tennessee’s state of ‘emergency’ to AUGUST 29th...just wiped out the ENTIRE summer. Interesting to note that BOTH Dem and Republican Governors are jumping to obey their master’s orders.
My opinion of masks is that if you want to or feel the need to wear one, go ahead...You are free to do what you feel is best for you...
If you don’t want to wear one, don’t...You are free to do what you feel is best for you...
There is no use or reason to put someone down because they either wear one or don’t wear one..It is an individual choice...
(Myself, I wear one if I’m inside a building and it’s got a lot of people...Outside, I take it off...)
Wearing my mask so that people will see me with it on means I’m giving back to the community...Oh boy, is this great! /s
Its the new replacement of the old Ben Franklin style glasses that libs wear to present themselves as intellectual. Look at Joe (the traitor) Scarborough. I doubt his are even prescription.
For the remaining decades of their lives, may they always hear, "where's your mask Caren? It's for the children, Caren."
A photograph of a box of disposable masks shows a warning label that says the masks "will not provide any protections against COVID-19."
Such disclaimers dont mean that the masks are ineffective at slowing the spread of the disease, but that they dont protect the wearer as well as medical respirators such as the N95 recommended for use by health care professionals. Disposable and homemade cloth masks are recommended for people to wear because it protects others around them in case they have the virus and may not be showing any symptoms.
The users sharing this image are making a false interpretation of the type of protection standard face masks provide. We rate it False.
I only wear a mask in medical facilities. I am wearing the same paper mask given me free at a hospital back in May. I know we are healthy as hubby is having surgery in a few days and has been tested twice - both negative. If he isn’t sick neither am I.
