Crazy, huh! My wife's dad owned an 8-unit apartment complex. Not too long after the dad passed, the bad sibling coerced the mom to sell it (without telling the other siblings). He took part of the proceeds to buy a condo for himself (one of those "forgivable" loans). Later on, the mom was crying to my wife that she was afraid of death because the dad in heaven would scream at her for having sold it. Sad. We made our own money and are well-off so we don't need the inheritance, and are making sure it goes to mom's care. After that, it gets divided up between 6 children; if it were up to us the bad sibling would not get anything because of all the past "loans", but my wife will divide it equally because of the trust verbiage.
Robert didnt pay the $45 fee. Sent it to surrogate court rather that NYS supreme court. Court rejected it.

Paid about 700k in 2006. Thats not much appreciation in Nassau County over 14 yrs. Avr home price is 562k in Nassau. Rockville Centre is nice but not over the top. Its a brick colonial. Nothing special.
Her last name is Trump. Do you expect that she live in a tent? Trumpsive in NY. She obviously used her settlement money to buy a residence and vacation home years ago. Whats wrong with that?

I know that area of Rockville Centre. It’s an exclusive section called the Canterbury area and has the the most expensive homes. I just comped 3 similar homes near her and they are priced 900K, and 999K and 1.1 million. Another home just closed at the end of May for 860k

Yes Canterbury is a nice part of Rockville Centre. Remember Rockville Centre has section 8 housing and Southside HS is never on the top hs list like North Shore schools.
I know Rockville Centre. You can spend 1.5 million on a house in her area. I am correct at pricing the house she lives in.
Rockville Centre has the advangae of having a LIRR station in the heart of town, it’s a short commute to the city and it has its own private police force. Other wealthy towns such as Manhasset and Huntington have section 8 housing apartments as well.
Not disputing you. I have friends who live in RVC. Its nice. She doesnt live in a mansion. People outside the metro area dont understand the housing prices and property taxes.
Rockville Centre’s property taxes are crazy. They pay town taxes as well as county property taxes. Where I live, I only pay the county property tax.
There are advantages and disadvantages to living in a village on LI.
