sorry meant ANTIFA riots, burnings & insurrections not protest
He posed a threat to his daughter he was supposed to pick up. What if he passed out on the road and took out many others.
Self defense...perp stole one weapon and if he had successfully used it, he’d have had access to a downed officer’s other weapon.
While I admire your innocence, if you need to use a firearm, you better be shooting for center of mass. There is a war going on, and ignoring it or trying to reduce its severity does not take away from the fact that the left is trying to destroy the country and remake it to their ideals. This fight is for keeps. We’ve allowed the left for many decades to usurp our institutions and way of life while good God fearing folk were too busy working and having families. Now we are paying that price and it’s going to get steeper. If it wasn’t this situation, they’d find another. It’s time to wake up like many have and realize what is at stake. The nation needs a revival, and needs it now.
The DA’s office is trying to have it both ways...

Quick Question: When did stealing a police officer’s taser and firing at him become the definition of “unarmed” ?
Actually a taser to the head can be lethal!!!!
So, you're saying that if someone points a taser at me, I can shoot them, and walk? Good to know. Or does that only work if you're wearing a magical blue suit?
What my point was, which you seemed to miss, was that he's gonna have to deal with the process, because in general most folk think of tasers as non-lethal. A lethal response to a non-lethal threat, especially when you have other folks there as backup as well is going to result in charges, at least for most people. He'll likely walk on it, but is going to have to be subjected to the 'process', which is a punishment of it's own.
The officer is going to have to convince a jury that he feared for his life, and that Brooks was an immediate threat to he or his partners safety when he pulled the trigger. Despite what some folks here are saying here, this is not going to be an easy job for the defense. Had he shot Brooks when he was turned and firing the taser, it would be much easier to defend.
Agreed on all points. As I said previously, I think he'll likely walk, but he's going to have to take the ride first.
Didn't I read he was incarcerated for child endangerment? If this is true, how is this specific parolee given permission to pick his daughter up at all? To even be alone with her? I'd bet that because of the endangerment charges, the guy wasn't supposed to be drinking alcohol at all. If that's the case he broke his parole that night. How many other times had he broken it since he'd been out?
One article said he "left" four children. Really? He was supposed to be doing 7 years, sentenced in 2014, and only released for the virus. He left those kids long ago. And how do you get a 1 and 2 year old if you're locked up? Conjugal visits? Or is the wife getting knocked up by other men? None of the press is reporting his crime convictions or the dates he was actually incarcerated. None of it fits their narrative.
I never said it was okay to drive drunk. And my reference to the MADD coven was their relentless pursuit of every state in America to conform to their demands, such as a 0.08% BAC. For some ppl thats like the equivalent of 1 drink, with onerous consequences if stopped.
Bottom line you don’t drive if you’ve been drinking one drink five drinks doesn’t matter it affects people differently
