Somebody needs to set up a GoFundMe page to build and erect five Confederate statues for every one they take down.
Once the DemonRATs remove the memorials of the shame of their forced enslavement of Blacks then they can openly embark on the enslavement of all through over spending.
In a related area, changing the names of many Army installations across the South is in the news today. The out of control Pentagon again is charting their own path of destruction and mayhem. The President can stop this in its tracks so I have emailed him that this is my personal line in the sand. If the names change without his objections and stopping it, I will stay home in November. When there is no difference in the policies of the two parties, there is no reason to vote.
Go ahead and put up statues of George Floyd kids
Remember when the Taliban blew up all those Buddhist statues? Universal outrage. They were part of history and heritage, not really idols to be worshiped.
I’ve said this before, you may love or hate the statues but this is very short sighted thinking. We have the technology to turn every single monument into an interactive learning experience. Walk up to a statue, monument, tree, park - anywhere - scan a QR code and see a list of commentaries.
Use the Lincoln Memorial as an example. There is so much to learn about the man, his presidency, the civil war, the design and construction of the monument, you name it. Anyone who wanted to could cut together a podcast or video offering different perspectives and any visitors could choose the perspective and of course rate the content. Instead of destroying these things, turn them into educational opportunities and inspire people.
soon it will be as if the civil war never happened...
hmmmm
And we're just going to let it go on and on and on......
The Islamist terrorist just blew up the statues that they disapproved of destroying them forever. Let’s hope that the history terrorist are at least preserving the statues that they hate as they attempt to erase our history. Someday, a generation of the future may decide to erect them again.
