She needs to be shown a big middle finger.
I’m not surprised that HEB looks squishy on this. Charles Butt enjoys his political clout and has increasingly been sending financial support to Democrats in tight races.
Also a convenient excuse for Boeing to hat up and head out at the first opportunity...assuming they survive so long.
Oh, ho ho ho....
Eat it, Larry.
Eat it raw.
Maybe Walmart and the other stores should spend a few hundred million putting stores back together so black thugs and white antifa scum can loot them again.
Sorry Mayor, the ‘white guilt’ card is dead..
Yeah, shareholders want OUT... we don’t want companies to thrown our money away on ingrates who loot. Get real. Police weren’t even allowed to protect their cars so less the city.
Good people need to escape democrat hellholes. Leave those places to the thugs and antifa base of the democrat party. Last people out will have to give away their homes...
Where the demographics are good.
On the bright side, it’ll lessen their obesity problem!
Because shrinkage losses are tax deductible.
That needs to end.
Walmart’s not stupid. They won’t rebuilt.
The good people in these democrat hellholes need to move out and allow the black community, ‘white antifa’ and corrupt politicians to take over. Chicago can be a showcase for third world hellholes of the World....
The whole city can becomes Englewood...
We can send in bus tours so civilized people can view a real third world hellhole without having to spent weeks and gobs of money traveling abroad.
It’ll be fun.
I’ll tell you the story on how Wal-Mart failed, and it’s a bit amusing.
Wal-Mart, after they’d established around 20 of the stores and had some big plan in the works....came to two serious blunders.
1. They’d go and park a pallet of Pepsi or Coke near the cashier area, and set the price at 5-to-10 percent below ‘cost’...meaning they were giving the cases away at a loss.
German law says...you can’t do this (under any strategy). They repeated this...over and over. In most towns, the fist time was just a warning and light fine. The second time...a more hefty fine came. Eventually, the German lawyers handling this would question the competency of Wal-Mart...that they didn’t grasp this one law.
2. The growth stage meant getting leased property on the outskirts of cities, and getting people into new flashy stores.
Well...downtown shopping districts went ballistic and put serious pressure on city councils to stall and prevent this strategy. Kaiserslautern was one of those communities that tried to prevent Wal-Mart from their new mega store idea.
This issue went on around the country, and was another problem that they’d never faced before. So they called it quits.
Oddly enough....the downtown shopping districts all went into a spin for maybe twenty years, and they’ve all suffered since that point. Other ‘malls’ have developed and sucked the life out of what was normal German shopping.
They have been closing at 5 pm all week here in my city in Michigan.
Why indeed? Their corporate boards are pledging millions to support BLM.
